We were so pleased to discover that making Christmas wreaths appeals to every generation. Recently, friends and family of all ages got together and enjoyed creating fresh and beautiful holiday wreaths to take home and enjoy.
As soon as we had our first frost earlier this month, I started picking pumpkins and digging dahlias. I store the pumpkins in our house and barn and feed them to the chickens over the winter. I save the dahlia tubers to share with others and to start next spring’s garden.
On our way to pick dahlias in the garden the other day we noticed cow pies near the corn… and over in the Christmas trees… and down by the pond! They were everywhere! We have chickens on our farm, but no cows. So my husband set up the trail camera down by the old Gravenstein apple tree. It seemed like a good place to catch a glimpse of the cow pie culprits.
